Think about the increased need for energy efficient heating and cooling systems. Consider the impact of new energy codes and technology advancements. Then you will understand why training in the residential/commercial HVAC/R field prepares you for outstanding career opportunities.

With the skills you gain at º£½ÇÊÓƵ Tech, you will be in demand as a trained professional in residential/commercial air conditioning, heating and refrigeration. Learn what it takes to work on heat/cool rooftop units, high-efficiency electronically controlled forced air furnaces and hydronic boilers, chillers and large-building computerized energy management control systems, ice cube machines, walk-in coolers/freezers and display cases.

With HVAC/R training, the possibilities are unlimited.

Accreditation and Affiliation

• The HVAC program is accredited by HVAC Excellence.
• The HVAC program is affiliated with the Refrigeration Service Engineering Society. (RSES)

Industry Partners

Program faculty meet with the advisory committee bi-annually. The advisory committee consists of industry professionals and student representatives. The advisory committee advises the faculty on budget proposals, industry trends, technology, industry news, curriculum goals, and new courses.

USDE Professional Licensure Disclosure

The º£½ÇÊÓƵ Technical HVAC curriculum is designed to help prepare students for employment in Minnesota. At this time, º£½ÇÊÓƵ is unable to make a determination if the HVAC program meets the licensing requirements for any state or US protectorate. You will want to contact the licensing board in which state you intend to pursue licensure for their requirements, below we provide a link to a list of each states licensing board.
