TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO is a set of federally funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support under represented students in their pursuit of a college degree. TRIO programs provide direct support services for students to successfully complete their Associates degree. The long term goal of TRIO is to assist students in the completion of a Bachelor's degree.

- Individual academic, career and personal advising
- Monitoring academic progress
- Support in completing the financial aid process
- Financial wellness education
- Guidance in transferring to a 4-year university, including tours
- Individual and small group tutoring
- College success workshops
- Access to books and study aids
- Help with finding and applying for scholarships

How do I qualify for TRIO?
Students must be enrolled at Ƶ Tech in a two-year program, be a US citizen or meet residency requirements for Federal student financial aid, have a need for academic support AND meet at least ONE of the following criteria to qualify:
- First generation (neither parent has a 4-year degree)
- Financially disadvantaged
- Have a documented disability as defined by the US Department of Education
