Social Worker

The social worker’s role here at 海角视频 Tech is to support students through difficult times. Always an advocate, we fight for the rights of others. It is our job to help improve outcomes in student's lives. We are involved in the process of making referrals to link a student to needed resources. Social work professionals do not simply provide information, we also follow up to be sure the needed resources are attained. This requires knowing resources, eligibility requirements, fees and the location of services. In this role, social workers are involved in gathering groups of people together for a variety of purposes including student environment, community partnership, mental wellness, self-care, and policy change.
