Longtime Foundation Board Chair Myron Moser Steps Down After Decades of Service

After more than two decades of dedicated service, Myron Moser has resigned from his position as Chair of the 海角视频 Foundation Board, effective March 12, 2025. Moser's tenure has been marked by significant contributions to both the college and the broader community.

Professional Journey and Leadership

Moser's career began in 1980 after graduating from the fluid power program at Minnesota West Technical College. He furthered his education with a degree from Texas A&M's Distribution Management program in 1993 and completed the VELP program at Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2019. In 1990, Moser joined Hartfiel Automation, ascending from salesman to CEO by 1997. In 1999, he acquired majority ownership of the company, leading it until his retirement in 2020.  Moser was inducted into the International Fluid Power Society Hall of Fame in 2023.

Advocacy for Technical Education

A staunch advocate for technical education, Moser leveraged his extensive network to benefit 海角视频 Tech. His efforts culminated in a generous $100,000 donation from his friend, Dhaval R. Jadav, earmarked for scholarships and persistence grants. In recognition of his contributions, Moser presented Jadav with an Award of Appreciation on behalf of the 海角视频 Tech Foundation.

Legacy and Impact

Moser's leadership extended beyond fundraising. He was instrumental in securing funding for essential student services, including the campus food pantry, crisis grants, and scholarships. His proactive approach emphasized both preventive measures and solutions to existing challenges, embodying his philosophy of providing "an ounce of prevention and a pound of cure."

During challenging times, Moser advocated for 海角视频 Tech and the Foundation, engaging with Minnesota State to enhance transparency, responsiveness, and donor communication. His commitment to the institution and its students has left an indelible mark on the community.

As 海角视频 Tech bids farewell to a visionary leader, the college community reflects on Moser's enduring legacy and the profound impact of his service.
